SVP/MD Operations-Mortgage Due Diligence (origination)

As a part of our expansion plan, we are seeking a SVP Operations-Due Diligence (origination). This position amounts to heading Infinity’s origination due diligence services and report to EVP operations; who manages due diligence of new origination and seasoned loans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 20+ years of underwriting experience and act as a subject matter expert on client calls
  • Finalize SOW, negotiate price and onboard new clients
  • Manage Deal Mangers. Ensure their key performance indicators are met : quality and speed of communication with clients, number of clients/loans managed.
  • Strong in mortgage compliance. Ability to explain clients on high cost, HPML, HOEPA, salability issues
  • Deep understanding of due diligence scope of work for various kinds of mortgage loan programs - non-qm, jumbo, fix & flip, MSRs, DSCR, HECM, etc…
  • Must have interacted and managed Wall Street clients for at least the last 5 years
  • Knowledge of procedure involved in loan securitization, reliance letters and documents needed from a due diligence co.
  • The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or accounting or equivalent work experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with a due diligence company with a minimum of 3 years in a client relations role; or 10 years in the mortgage banking business
  • In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry and capital markets. Mortgage Backed Securities and due diligence process’ experience a plus
  • Strong relationships with hedge funds, investment banks, servicers and mortgage originators preferred

Compliance Lead

The Infinity IPS Compliance lead supports all business operations by managing and supporting a team of auditing professionals in providing top notch services to the client.   The compliance lead will be the mentor, educator, and ensure the team is up to date on all regulations. 

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, mortgage underwriting or similar experience, risk management, and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Must have in depth knowledge of TRID requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of investor/insurer guidelines, applicable laws, regulations, and company audit policies and procedures and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of senior management, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation and regulatory compliance requirements (e. g. allowable fees, Loan Estimate to Closing Disclosure comparisons, and Tolerance/Cure Calculations).

The Infinity IPS Human Resources Manager supports all business operations by managing the organization HR administration, strategic planning and execution. Overall this position is responsible for executing and managing all recruiting, onboarding, off boarding, performance management, payroll and general HR activities for Infinity IPS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ high volume recruiting experience in the mortgage industry with proven track record. Knowledge of Residential Mortgage Due diligence, Pre & Post Quality Control processes and procedures, industry trends, standards and best practices, and employment laws and regulations will be a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as HR Supervisor
  • Strong working knowledge in all Microsoft Office Products, with a focus on advanced/expert level skills in Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Past experience in recruiting W-2 employees and 1099 for a company

Responsibilities

  • Leading all company-wide recruiting and staffing practices including, job description creation/postings, passive candidate sourcing, candidate review, interviewing, team interview scheduling, interview content/value identification and candidate selection.
  • Onboarding and orientating all new hires to company systems, policies, operating procedures, and culture.
  • Managing employee off boarding including, executing exit interviews, accounts termination, etc.
